I am writing with regard to our forthcoming Superhero Sunday Walk of Life being held Sunday 27th May at Leics Cricket Ground. I was wondering whether you would be able to publicise the event on your sites as we are looking for both walkers and volunteers. I have attached a poster plus some further information regarding the walk.

This year’s walk takes place on Sunday 27th of May starting at Leicestershire County Cricket Club, Grace Road, Leicester, LE2 8AD at 10:30am. The route for 2012 will take you 5 or 15 miles around Leicester before finishing back at the Cricket Club. Entrants are encouraged to dress as their favourite Superhero – but this is of course optional. Registration will be from 9.00am.
At Rainbows the families we support are the real Superheroes having to face difficult situations every day, so you could be a hero for them by signing up. Every walking Superhero will receive a medal and goody bag. Registration for all walkers over the age of sixteen costs £5.00 per person. We hope that more people than ever will put their best foot forward to support Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People this year. As you know Rainbows is the only hospice for children and young people in the East Midlands, and relies heavily on support from local people to provide care & support for children and young people who need it most.
